Preowned Watch Details
This reference comes on a perforated black Omega leather strap with a yellow rubber interior. The entire watch is constructed of black zirconium oxide ceramic and features striking yellow accents. The case back is engraved with the text APOLLO 8, DEC 1968, DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, as well as the quote “WE’LL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE.” These were astronaut Jim Lovell’s words to ground control before the Apollo 8 traveled to the dark side of the moon. The cut-away dial is imprinted with the pattern of the moon's surface. This timepiece is in overall excellent pre-owned condition with a few dings along the left side of the watch case. All photos are of the actual watch being sold. Powered by Omega's Calibre 1869 hand-winding mechanical movement with an approximate power reserve of 48 hours. Comes with Omega box, manuals, and pictogram card. Serial Number: 78864xxx.
