Preowned Watch Details
The IW5009-08 comes on an IWC leather strap with a sunburst blue dial and is a limited edition of 1,000 pieces. This model was created by IWC in honor of famed pilot and author, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. His book, "Le Petit Prince," has sold over 150 million copies and has been translated into over 250 languages since its initial publication in 1936. The case back features an engraving of the little prince with his coat and sword - exactly how Saint-Exupéry drew him in the 1940s. This timepiece is in overall excellent pre-owned condition. All photos are of the actual watch being sold. Powered by IWCs Calibre 51111 self-winding mechanical movement which contains 42 jewels and has an impressive approximate 168-hour power reserve. Power reserve indicator is located at the 3 o'clock position. Date display is located at the 6 o'clock position.
