Manufactured in 1986 (9.4 Million Serial Number). Watch is in very good pre-owned condition with only a few very faint scuffs on the case and some minor flex/stretch in the bracelet consistent with age. Powered by Rolex’s caliber 3035 self-winding mechanical movement. Watch was last serviced by Rolex in 2015.

Vintage Rolex Submariner ref 16800 Transitional model 9.4 million serial # circa 1986. Great looking vintage model with very pleasing original tritium luminous indexes and hands, and nicely matching elapsed time bezel "pearl." This is the popular transitional model, an early sapphire crystal ref 16800, which follows the plastic crystal model 1680, and precedes the 16610 with modern glossy style dial. This model features a sapphire crystal, a quick set date ref 3035 movement, and a very pleasing matte black dial with luminous dial indexes with luminous surrounds, matching tritium hands, and patina'd elapsed time bezel pearl. This transitional model offers the convenience and security of a more water resistant design, but retaining the popular vintage character of the early plastic crystal matte dial models. With Rolex Venezuela service papers dated 2015. Guaranteed genuine and offered with our 1 year warrantee of accurate time keeping and operation.
